Coffee… I never knew that making coffee is such a an arduous task, but I learned today that 6lbs of coffee cherries only translates to 1lb of roasted coffee which equals 42 cups of coffee.. The coffee in Guatemala is 3rd in the world in quality, and while I’m no coffee expert.. I must say that it was definitely aromatic and smooth. This arrangement of coffee shows all the stages that the coffee bean goes through to make it to your cup of joe. 90% of the coffee cherries are picked by hand in Guatemala, and pretty much everything is done by hand throughout the process.
