Japanese Food Love | Cooking With Dog | YouTube
Common to many work days, Mitch and I were wasting time chatting about food and ended up reminscing about this all time favorite YouTube show. The Japanese just seem to do everything funner, bigger and cleaner! Its a well known fact that YouTube can teach you anything, and this is THE YouTube spot to learn how to cook auenthic Japanese dishes — personally I was estatic to discover how to make chawanmushi!
The channel poses the little pup Francis as the host of the show, and as Mitch has blogged before, the guy has some serious self control to sit unphased for so long next to all that food. I believe it though — apparently if you never feed a dog human food, it will never crave or seek it. My brother and sister-in-law’s pup just walks around pizzas spread out on their living room floor.
However the true star of the show is the lovely Japanese woman, who I assume is Francis’ owner. She is a straight BOSS that makes normally boring dish prep so entertaining — meticulous directions (“cut the onion into three 1.5 inch pieces”), eyesight of a sniper (her knife skills are impecably sharp and quick!), and the ability to stay dressed to impressed sans the apron and keep the kitchen spotless after finishing each dish.
Enjoy hours of fun here.
